Northern Nursing Academy

This year’s Northern Nursing Academy will be held in Round Rock.  All students who attend high school at ISDs including Round Rock, Liberty Hill, Leander, Georgetown, Pflugerville, and Jarrell are eligible to attend.  Student will be selected for the academy based on their application and interest in nursing.  Teachers and other administrators are welcome to attend the academy.

During the academy students will learn the different career pathways in nursing, hear from nurse professionals, and gain hands on experiences during thenurse simulations.  The academy is from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm on Friday, October 28, 2011.  The Nursing Academy is free for all students and lunch will be provided.
