Preceptor Opportunities

Volunteer As a Preceptor
Preceptors play an important and valued role in the overall educational process for students, and help them become successful practitioners and colleagues. If you are a healthcare professional that works within our 8 county region we would love to hear from you.

Current Preceptor Opportunities
A variety of opportunities exist through which you can serve as a preceptor to health profession students. Review the current openings listed below and choose the course that most closely matches your qualifications and interests. Once you have selected a course, please complete the preceptor application.

Preceptor Application
If you are a new preceptor, please complete the community preceptor worksheet and the universal organization worksheet. If you work at a location with an active Capital AHEC preceptor, you do not need to complete the universal organization worksheet, as we will already have this information on file.

E-mail the completed document(s) to Michelle Corn at mcorn@capitalahec.org. In the body of your e-mail, please indicate which course(s) you are interested in teaching.
Returning preceptors do not need to re-submit these two forms, but instead should e-mail Michelle Corn at mcorn@capitalahec.org indicating which course(s) you are interested in teaching.
