Southern Nursing Academy

This year’s Southern Nursing Academy will be held in Lockhart.  All students who attend high school at ISDs including Lockhart, Lulling Prairie Lea, Hays, San Marcos, Gonzales, and Nixon-Smiley are eligible to attend.  Students will be selected for the academy based on their application and interest in nursing.  Teachers and other administrators are welcome to attend the academy.

During the Nursing Academy students will learn the different career pathways in nursing, hear from nurse professionals, and gain hands on experiences during the nurse simulations.  The academy is from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm on Wednesday, April 14, 2010.  The Nursing Academy is free for all students and lunch will be provided.

To register for the Southern Nursing Academy please complete the form and submit it to Capital AHEC by the indicated deadline. All registration forms received after the deadline will not be considered for the Academy. Space is limited, register today!
